Delete your Mataa account and data
Ask us to delete your account
- Email privacy@mataa.ltd with the subject "Delete my Mataa account".
- Send it from the email address on your account, or include the phone number you sign in with.
- We will confirm it is your account — usually by sending a one-time code to that email address or phone number — and then delete it.
We reply within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming it is you.
If you signed in with Facebook or Google
You can also remove Mataa's access from your provider at any time:
- Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → Mataa → Remove.
- Google: myaccount.google.com/connections → Mataa → Delete all connections.
Removing access stops the provider sharing anything more with us. To delete what Mataa already holds, send the email above as well.
What is deleted, and what is kept
We delete your profile, sign-in details, linked Google or Facebook identity, saved addresses and devices. Records of orders you placed, and security records of attempts to misuse an account, may be kept for as long as the law requires or to prevent fraud, with your name and contact details removed where the law allows.
